The small but fine counterpart to our holiday suite "Kappe Deluxe" welcomes you with its top modern, bright ambience. Our design studio accommodates you very close to the adventure mountain Kappe and therefore perfectly completes our portfolio of residences in the heart of the vacation world Winterberg.
The fantastic view from the balcony onto the ice channel of the Veltins EisArena and the slalom slope clearly manifests the excellent first impression. And also the other sports facilities as well as the city center can be reached from here in no time.
Space miracle with stylish furnishings
Our design studio offers a large light-flooded living room with top modern furniture, whose natural colors fit particularly harmoniously into the idyllic atmosphere of the Rothaargebirge. On about 36 square meters, two guests as standard – with an extended sofa bed even up to four guests – find the ideal environment for a perfect vacation in Hochsauerland. Decorative accessories optimally underline the inviting room feeling of the studio and complete the vacation experience down to the smallest detail.
The multifunctional living area leaves nothing to be desired: On the cozy couch with a small living room table, for example, you can enjoy delicious drinks and snacks in the evening. For those who want to enjoy some nice TV entertainment or an exciting movie, the 55-inch LED TV on the wall is at their disposal. Alternatively, the square dining table with its seating, which is also available, can also be converted into a gaming paradise. For this purpose, we have also equipped our studio with a variety board games.
The perfectly equipped kitchenette in the back invites you to prepare your meals. This way you an enjoy the studio to the fullest, without necessarily having to go to the nearby restaurants for a meal. The comfort is increased by a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a ceramic hob, a microwave with grill function and an automatic dishwasher.
Restful sleep in comfortable beds
Spend restful nights in the spacious double bed (160 x 200 cm). Of course, in our studio everything is already prepared for you, and there is also a selection of towels at your disposal.
For three or four guests, the comfortable couch can be converted into a sofa bed, also 160 cm wide. Here, too, there is nothing to prevent you from a restful sleep.
The modern bathroom offers a real glass shower cabin to ensure a comfortable showering experience. Under the rectangular washstand, you will also find sufficient storage room as well as enough shelf space for your washing utensils.
Multiple outdoor and common areas
On the balcony, that can be accessed directly from the design studio, in addition to the magnificent view, there is also a table with an adequate number of seats. Here you can have breakfast or other meals in good weather. There are also sun loungers on which you can sunbathe or enjoy the last rays of the evening sun.
The studio also has a reserved parking lot for your car, so that you can leave your car directly at the house.
The spacious garden is available for communal use. Here you can also find some playground equipment for the youngest.
You can store your sports equipment such as bicycles or skis in the video-monitored bicycle cellar or the ski room.
There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, which you can use free of charge (for more information on the common areas, see "Notes").

Note: Winterberg is subject to visitor's tax. The visitor's tax is EUR 3.00 per person per night and is charged in addition to the accommodation price. Children and teenagers under 16 years are exempt from the visitor's tax.
On the day of your arrival, the design studio "Kappe Deluxe" is available to you as from 3:30 p. m. by default. Nevertheless, we kindly ask you to inform us of your desired arrival time at least two days before your arrival.
Our design studio has an intelligent entry system with digital key codes. You will receive these codes by e-mail before your trip, so that you can arrive flexibly. Even in your own interest, we ask you to treat the key codes strictly confidential and not to pass them to anyone!
You will also receive the contact details of our employee in good time via e-mail. She will be at your disposal for questions throughout your stay and will gladly take care of your concerns.
Please note our house rules, which you can view in the section "About us". Together with our general terms and conditions, they are binding for you and your fellow travelers upon your booking. It is especially important to us to respect all residents of the facility and to treat the nature in a responsible way. For this we have taken all possible measures in our accommodations. We do not offer any single-use plastic and ask you to use our resources in a sustainable way and to dispose of garbage only in the provided garbage cans.
We ask you to urgently consider that smoking is strictly prohibited in our design studio "Kappe Deluxe". Please use the outdoor areas for this purpose and make sure that the smoke cannot get into the house.

We want you to worry as little as possible about anything other than your relaxation during your stay. We have arranged for this and provide you with a number of inclusive services in our accommodations.
In our design studio "Kappe Deluxe" you can use our free WLAN. You will receive the access data shortly before your arrival. You will also find a QR code on site, which you can easily scan with your mobile device. And you are already connected!
We have equipped the kitchen with common spices as well as salt and sugar. In addition, toilet paper, washing and dishwashing detergents, as well as cleaning agents for the temporary cleaning of the vacation suite are already available upon your arrival. You do not need to worry about the final cleaning. We will take care of that! This service is already included in our rental price!
For your sports equipment such as mountain bikes and skis, there is a bicycle and a ski cellar in each of the houses. In your accommodation you will find a map explaining where exactly you can find these rooms.
In addition, there is also a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, which you can use free of charge. We only ask you to bring the detergent you need for this yourself.
Departure:
Please clear the design studio by 10:00 a. m. on the day of your departure. To do this, simply pull the apartment door shut behind you when leaving the accommodation.
Our design studio "Kappe Deluxe" is located in the "Haus Brilliant" of the Smart Resorts GmbH in Buchenweg 21. We offer numerous additional services under our own direction. Therefore, please note that our studio is an independent offer, which is in absolutely no way connected with Smart Resorts GmbH. Although you may use most of the facilities in the common property (bicycle and ski storage, laundry room, garden, etc.), we can offer our design studio at (minimum) the same quality for a lower price during most periods of the year. Talk to us, should we nevertheless be more expensive!
You can also leave the resort via the "Haus Diamant" of Smart Resorts GmbH at Kiefernweg 12. The two houses are connected by a covered "gangway". A good neighborhood with all owners as well as the colleagues of Smart Resorts GmbH is very important to us. Please contribute to a friendly coexistence by your behavior at all times.
From the balcony of our design studio "Kappe Deluxe" you have an excellent view on the ice channel of the VELTINS-EisArena in the direct neighborhood of the adventure mountain Kappe, which offers a wide range of leisure activities in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. It is only a few meters to the first slopes of the bike park! The ski tracks of the ski lift carousel (exactly 850 meters to the panorama slope or to the downhill Astenstraße) are also in "walking distance" as well as the Panorama Adventure Bridge with its incomparable view of Winterberg and the mountains and valleys of Hochsauerland.
Those who like fun and action are attracted by the fly-line, the summer toboggan run, the climbing forest and the mini-golf course directly at the adventure mountain Kappe. Nature lovers and the younger guests will also get their full enjoyment here.
If, for example, you don't feel like cooking yourself or are interested in an extensive shopping tour, you'll be in the middle of the city in no time at all! And despite its central location, peace and quiet are guaranteed in the design studio "Kappe Deluxe"!
In addition, the Olympic base NRW/Westphalia is located in the immediate vicinity. The "Service Center Winterberg" is the federal base for the skating sports. Germany's most successful squad athletes from the sports of bobsleigh, luge and skeleton practice here. In addition, Winterberg is home to the federal base for young talents in the ski disciplines, supporting athletes from the junior squads in the sports of biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and ski jumping. Many of the athletes who are accommodated here are members of the German Armed Forces or the Bundespolizei (German Federal Police), which means that they have access to optimal development opportunities: Apart from six weeks of career training per year, in Winterberg they can fully concentrate on their sport. The performance-promoting atmosphere of this sports and training center gives the whole city of Winterberg its very own flair, where you can virtually sniff the air of World Cups and Olympic participations. In 2022, for example, five athletes from the Olympic base returned to Winterberg as medal winners from the Olympic Games in Beijing: Hannah Neise (gold medal in skeleton), Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi (gold medal in two-man bobsleigh), Christopher Weber (silver medal in four-man bobsleigh) and Matthias Sommer (bronze medal in two-man bobsleigh).
Winterberg in Hochsauerland is very easy to reach due to its central location both from the metropolitan areas of NRW and from many regions of Germany as well as from neighboring countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. You can make your journey comfortable by car, bus or train.
Arrival by train:
Winterberg can easily and quickly be reached by DB interregional transport. The trains e. g. from Dortmund central station take you to Winterberg in only 104 minutes. From Hagen there are hourly connections, from Kassel at least every two hours. Information on the door-to-door luggage service of Deutsche Bahn is available at all DB sales offices. You can check your possible rail connection to Winterberg on the Westfalen schedule.
Arrival with Flixbus:
Flixbus is another travel option for Winterberg visitors: whether from the Netherlands, the Ruhr area, Berlin, Lower Saxony or Hesse – the vacation world can easily be reached up to three times a day from more than 20 cities. Info on schedules and fares can be found at flixbus.de!

Local transportation: Free bus and train across Sauerland!
In Winterberg you can also take your car on vacation! With their payment of the visitors' tax, all holiday guests receive the SauerlandCard, which offers free bus and train travel throughout the Sauerland region, as well as a number of discounts at affiliated partner businesses. All information about buses and trains in the Hochsauerland district is available either by calling 01803/54030 or online at westfalentarif.de.
During the ski season and as long as there is sufficient snow in all connected areas, the ski lift carousel also operates two free shuttle bus routes, which make it possible to visit up to four ski areas in one day without stress or searching for a parking space. These buses depart at regular intervals from the Nordhang parking lot (P5) at the base station of Brembergkopf lift (No. 11).
Orange line: This line goes to the Postwiesen ski village Neuastenberg and stops there at the bus stop above Postwiese.
Green line: This line goes to the ski carousel Altastenberg (stop: parking lot at Kapellenhang) and the family ski area Sahnehang (stop: parking lot at Sahnehang).
